Longarm Quilting Services
The process is super simple, just pick out your pattern, thread color, and batting. Once I receive your completed form and quilt, I will get it ready and back on the road to usually in 2 weeks or less.
I charge based on the density of the edge to edge you choose, return shipping and for batting (although you can send that in yourself). I can piece your back from standard fabric for an additional charge. I do not charge for needles, thread or trimming on regular quilting cotton backed quilts.
Please read below before filling out the form to get in line for quilting services from Corrie B Creates.

Perfection and Expectations:
I am sorry to let you know that I am not perfect. Longarm quilting results many not be perfect, just other steps in the quilting process. I strive to keep the quilt straight, limit puckering, waving of borders and bury threads when changing bobbins or restarting after a thread break. I do not guarantee I will find and fix all imperfections. Also note, I quilt in my home where I do have two small dogs, so if you have an allergy issues with dogs, I suggest utilizing another Longarm service.
Let's talk about additional costs and prepping your quilt top...
How to figure a cost estimation for your e2e quilting? Take width x length = square inches
Example: if your quilt is 72" wide and 60" long that means you multiply 70x60 to get 4,320 sq in
Then multiple 4,320 x the price for the density you'd like to get your estimate for quilting. I have a minimum charge of $35 for small quilts. I need to do this as it takes time to load the quilt, set-up the machine, design and prepare quilt for sending back.
Batting:
I stock large rolls of both natural and black 80/20 cotton batting for $.35 per inch, and 100% wool batting for $.40 per inch, or you may send your own batting if you prefer, but please remember your batting must be at least 2 inches larger on all four sides. I will use the smaller side to cut off the roll and for pricing. Example: 72x60 quilt size will need 64" inches off the roll (that's 2" extra on both side).
Backing:
All backing must be at least 4" inches larger than the quilt top, on all 4 sides. If you send backing that is not large enough, I will not be able to load it to the long arm frame without adding additional yardage. This fee will start at $30 to cover the time and additional yardage that will need to be added to allow for the edge to edge quilting. If you choose to mail backing yardage directly to me from a fabric shop, I am happy to piece your basic backing for $20. As I do not sell fabric, I can not offer backing for sale directly.
Borders:
If your quilt top is not square or your borders are too long causing wave, I can not guarantee the outcome, some puckers may result and additional fees may be added for extra time and pressing. I will communicate with you if I think this will be the case when I start your quilt so you that you are not surprised by the additional cost.
Needle & Thread:
I use Glide Thread exclusively, and I keep a large variety of colors in stock. I do not charge you for needles, thread, bobbins or trimming the quilt.
Trimming:
I will try standard backed quilts 1/4" from the quilted edge after quilting as part of your e2e price, if you do not want this service, please note that on your google form below. Please note, this means I will not trim quilts with minky, cuddle fabric or other alternative type backing.
Binding:
I do not offer options for binding. Please do not send your binding in with your quilt.
Postage **
Postage fees are the responsibility of the client.
1) First you will mail your quilts to me, I recommend sending your quilts via UPS or US Postal Service using the flat rate boxes, these include tracking and some insurance.
2) Then once your quilt has been quilted I will pack it into a box with plastic to keep it safe from moisture and purchase the postage to return the quilt back to you, that exact postage cost will be added to your invoice once quilting is complete. I am not responsible for lost or stolen packages, I encourage you to purchase postal insurance whenever possible. I have a spot on my Google form below, just let me know there if you want that extra insurance for the trip home.
Billing:
You pay nothing up front, when it is your turn in line I will load your quilt and begin the longarm quilting. I will let you know when I receive your question and an estimated completion date based on current queue. Then once it is completed I will send you pictures by text and an email with a link to pay the invoice. Once paid I will return your quilt by UPS or USPS.
Preparing your quilt:
Press the quilt top and backing.
Please trim all loose threads from the quilt top, on both sides. Dark threads will show through white fabric if not trimmed prior to quilting.
Backing must be at least 4″ larger than the quilt top on Top, Bottom and both sides. This allows me to load your quilt properly to the frame. Addition fees will be billed if I have to add additional yardage to make the backing large enough to load.
Please keep in mind if you are sending minky backing there is always a chance that it could pull through depending on the quality, especially if the backing and the quilt top have high contrasting colors (Example: blue backing w/ white top) for best results use blending colors when working with minky.
Mark the top left of the quilt with a pin and post it note, do this for both the quilt top and the backing especially if your quilt is directional. If this is not done, I will not be responsible for directional mistakes.
For best results, quilt top & backing must be square to prevent puckers. I will not be responsible for puckers if any quilts have long borders causing wave, no refunds will be issued.
You can reach me by email or text if you have any questions. I want to make sure you get exactly what you want, and I want to make sure your quilts travel safely!! I am happy to help in any way that I can.
What if I do not want an edge-to-edge? Do you do custom quotes and custom quilting?
My short answer is maybe, it really will depend on what you would like. Please email at corriebcreates@gmail.com a full picture and a close up of your quilt, size information and description of what you'd like. Edge to edge in middle and then the border somethign else, or maybe you want one design in one block and a second dsign in other blocks. From there I'l assess and send you a qoute. We may end up talking on the phone as well to clarify any questions we both may have. My pricing will be based on my time estimate from start to finish. Doing a custom piece, even with robotics means more time for me away from my own quilting and ties up the machine for longer periods of time. Please expect a minium of $150 with many projects in the $250 to $400 range. I may need to decline your request.
Did you make it all the way here! Awesome! I like to read to the bottom as well. We would be great friends.
